Business Manager, Strategic Partnerships

Key responsibilities

As the Business Manager, Strategic Partnerships, you will be a trailblazer who thinks strategically and shares our vision and passion. With commercial acumen and an innate ability to transform opportunities, this newly created role will work with the CEO to take identified strategies and lead the development and implementation of land-based and business development activities.

About you

To truly excel in this role, your primary purpose is to develop, convert and deliver strategic projects across our partnership portfolio, with a socio-economic development lens on.

  • Proven 5+ years expertise across multi-sector projects and/or strategic project or business development roles, with evidence of converting complex projects with high success rates (essential)
  • Ideally Business degree qualified (or equivalent) and experience working at a senior level in areas of business development, commercial negotiation, and/or regional economic development, or a related field (essential)
  • Positive outlook, doer attitude and strategic converter to recognise and implement opportunities
  • Able to cultivate and conceptualise concepts which are realistic, viable and can be proven approach
  • Hold and maintain strong professional relationships, with proficient communication skills

If you can draw on your past successes, have extensive experience working across multi-sector projects or industries, with the ability to juggle numerous agendas and achieve positive project outcomes, you may be the person we are looking for.
