Wattandee Littlewell Aboriginal Corporation
Established in December 2020, WLAC evolved from the Littlewell Working Group, which had been active since 2010. The Working Group comprised Wattandee people and Elders connected to the former Littlewell Aboriginal Reserve in Mingenew, Western Australia. This reserve, operational from 1898 to 1972, was home to a community of about 150 people.

Mission and Objectives
WLAC is managed by a board of Wattandee Directors with key goals:
- Utilising the 10-hectare Littlewell Aboriginal Reserve site as a place for spiritual and emotional healing, celebrating the heritage and culture of Wattandee people.
- Developing Wattandee Rangers to provide conservation, ecosystem, and cultural site management.
- Implementing a Wattandee language revival program.
- Creating cultural education programs for youth and the community.

Elders Connect Day: An annual event providing an opportunity for Elders to reconnect with country and culture, offering guidance and direction to the community and the corporation.

Cultural Awareness Training: Offered to government departments, corporations, community groups, and businesses operating on Wattandee country, this training immerses participants in Wattandee culture and heritage.

Wattandee Dance Group: This group practices cultural and contemporary dancing, performing at community events and programs, representing the culture through song and dance.

Wattandee Language Revival: WLAC is working to revive the Wattandee language, developing a language group involving Elders to focus on this initiative.

Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes. ABC Foundation is a deductible gift recipient (DGR) organisation. All donations received including cash, goods or property, are tax deductible. This means businesses can deduct the donation amount from their taxable income when they lodge their tax return.
